Sports travelled to Banbury United FC in the annual Ron Thomas Cup.

Andy Sharman was able to put out a strong side despite having a number of key players unavailable

Banbury raced into a 2-0 lead with goals from Ball and Westwood. However Leam Howard’s reduced the deficit on half time. Sports were frustrated to be behind having dominated much of the half.

In the second half Sports shape continues to cause Banbury problems and they equalised through Luke Swann.

Sports had efforts to win the game and hit the woodwork but the result finished 2-2.

Banbury won on penalties 4-2

Manager Andy Sharman was really pleased with his sides performance and felt they caused Banbury plenty of issues during the evening
